Through all of his adventures he finally met up with a partner who had the same interest as him. A wild man named Enkidu who Gilamesh considered as his own brother. They became very close; they were inseparable until the death of Enkidu, which brought great depression and confusion in Gilgamesh's life. The search for more knowledge began from there.
